- Review the weekly meeting plans from the PLC meeting
- Check the meeting plans against the requirements to make sure we are teaching something the Scouts need to know
- Make sure we are consistent with themes
- Discuss the weekly plan at the PREVIOUS troop meeting so that patrols are aware of their assigments
- Review Patrol assignments – Program Patrol – flags, song, skit. Service Patrol – works with QM to make sure a) meeting is setup b) instructional materials are present c) meeting place is left better than we found it. Instruction Patrol – has the instructors there and ready to teach. Game Patrol – has the game prepared and ready to run.
- On the weekend before – communicate with all parties and determine who will be at the meeting
- Mid-week – finalize who will be at the meeting at what they will do.
